One of the goals of UPTECH is to strengthen innovative capacity of Higher Education in Europe. In this sense, the project offers dedicated and tailored training through innovative training/mentoring methods.

In fact, as part of WP4 “Deep Tech Talent Development”, the consortium is committed to:

• Design and implement training and mentorship activities for students and academic and non-academic staff.
• Design and implement training program for startup founders. 

More precisely, in alignment with the EIT HEI Initiative, UPTECH intends to shape and re-shape innovation skills through its engagement with deep-tech topics, aiming to influence educational, technological and business improvements to integrate and leverage HEIs skills and capacities.

For this reason, we offer FREE 3 ECTS courses on AI, Cybersecurity, Big Data, and IoT. Each participant who completes a course will receive a personalised certificate from EIT (see example of certificate for past 2025 courses).

All courses for year 2026 are offered only in asynchronous mode, in two different periods:

• First period: the four courses will be open from April 13th to July 31st.
• Second period: the four courses will be open from September 7th to December 7th.

Students can start one or more of the courses at anytime within any of the two periods, but must finish the selected course(s) before the specified final date of that period.

Note that if a student is not able to finish a course before the end of first period, he/she is allowed to start again the same course in the second period.
